Washi tape is pretty useful for crafting and decorating but so expensive! Here's how to make your own with supplies lying around the house... You will need: wax paper, electrical tape, glue stick, scissors, scraps of magazine paper, wrapping paper and old tape dispensers.
First, lay out a sheet of wax paper and lie long strips of tape on it sticky side down. Then cover the other sides with glue and put the design you want on top. Press until smooth, cut out the strips leaving the wax paper on. Use a small piece of tape to secure one end of the tape to an old tape roll. Roll the tape up and secure to the end of the tape dispenser with a small piece of the wax paper peeled off. For smaller pieces, just cut up and store like stickers.
