The Frog is one of the water-dwelling signs of the Forest. Living in the deep pond of the subconscious, these signs get lost in their own minds and need to leap onto land once in a while to get grounded. The Frog is dreamy, moody, and intuitive. They are highly sensitive creatures with empathetic and compassionate natures. They observe the workings of the world from their lily-pads and have stores of wisdom to share. Like the fairy tale of the Princess and the Frog, these signs teach that we must go within the deep well of ourselves to heal and transform. They can be easily swayed by others to the point of losing themselves and need to be mindful of attracting toxic people into their lives. Like many species of frogs containing poison that can be transformed into medicine, the Frog must transmute their pain and stop playing the victim. Their true purpose is to help others. In a romantic relationship, they have a bit of an unrealistic ideal that everything will be perfect. They need to come out of their dream worlds and get real with themselves and others. They are very kind and caring partners. The karmic life lesson for this sign is to let go of their ideas of martyrdom and sainthood and to actually help others.
