May felt like on long lazy spring day. The flowers were growing in the forest, the breeze was blowing softly and the trees were swaying back and forth. We studied forestry, geology, and botany. We flew kites in the forest and gathered flowers and herbs. Gardening and fasting on the foods we grew. My favorite things this month were reading old novels, watching vintage logger movies, sipping wine late into the night reading poetry, making lots of crafts, the scent of fresh rosemary, dancing to deepwoods doo-wop, meandering mooses, rocky road ice cream, jounraling, scrapbooking, writing lyrics, exploring deeper in the woods, logrolling, practicing for the annual forest lumberjacks games, making forest scout patches, going to the park, lying under the trees, listening to old '78 records on a vintage wood player, stag parties, playing n64 games, silver stopwatches, roadtrips, portable televisions, log cabins, small shows, ivy plants, pressing spring flowers, finishing french, going out on the town...

That sounds like a wonderful month! So many fun things! And as you were posting this I was actually writing my recap post for tomorrow haha!
ReplyDeleteAlso, those lists look really interesting! I think I'll have to come back for some proper research homework tomorrow;)
Thanks, this month was a good one! I actually just started doing month in review posts this year, and I love it! It's so fun to look back on the memories, and it makes it easier for me to remember books, movies, and music I found that month.
