The Bear can be found hibernating in its den, surrounded by creature comforts; languidly lounging around munching on honey and smoked salmon canapes until the spring has sprung. Then the Bear is plowing through the woods foraging for food to support the clan. Hard-working and reliable, these rugged down-to-earth types are the lazy laborers of the Forest. They work slowly but steadily. Like it's Celtic Tree equivalent, the Willow, the Bear is deep-rooted and unshakable in its ways. That is why willow trees bend instead of breaking when life's storms begin to brew. An easygoing attitude and sense of optimism keep the beast lumbering along life's trail. A Bear's life lesson is to strike a balance between intuition and animal instinct. To overcome their brash nature, finding beauty and balance.The Bear has a bawdy, campy sense of humor and is usually found roaring with laughter when they are with friends. Friendly and agreeable, the good old Bear is always there as your rock, a friend who will always be there for you. True to the end. Very affectionate in romantic relationships, the Bear will always be pawing at you. They love to share the finer things in life with their partner and indulge.
