The Nature Library Card Catalouge

Friends of the forest, have you ever experienced an organizational dilemma?

The other day I was in my craft room and wanted a way to preserve my

special specimens that I’ve collected in my travels…

 

I walked across the field to The Lord’s Closet, where I bought this old card catalogue for $2.

I proceeded to use it to store leaves, mushrooms, and more!

I made cards for each specimen, if I want to use it later for an art project,

I use a paperclip or small plastic bag stapled to the card.

If I want to preserve it permanently in the catalogue, I glue it to the card.

How about you?  What do you use to organize your specimens?
