One of my favorite bands, First Aid Kit, is releasing a new album, 'Stay Gold' This is their hit single from the new album. I always get really excited when a band I love releases new work (on a sidenote, Woods is working on a new album as well!) The best part is, First Aid Kit will be playing in LA soon and I've already ordered my tickets! I can't wait to see them! Enjoy the song, forest friends!
I don't think I'd ever heard of this band before, but it sounds great! Hard to believe it's current music, sounds and looks so sixties:)
ReplyDeleteYes, I will be reading the second trilogy as well. I guess I have to now, as I ordered not only the next 2 from the 1st trilogy but also the 1st of the 2nd yesterday. They were really cheap now, so I didn't want to wait and have to pay more later.
I'm glad you warned me that the 2nd is less good though, I'll make sure to really take my time and enjoy the rest of the 1st then. I already thought the covers had a completely different atmosphere. I picked the Faire Folk mainly because of their covers, but would not have done that with the second trilogy.
And how cool that you worked at a library! I also hope to one day either work in a bookstore or otherwise a library. It's just so nice to be surrounded by books:)

ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the rest of the series! I only own the first three books, but like you I loved the covers. I really like the writing in the books, it makes you feel as though you are playing a video game or on a quest. I'll be checking out all the recommendations on your blog!
