Week of Woodland Winter Wonders

It's a wonderful week in the woods, everything's going just as it should...What a wonderful week, feels like I'm on a winning streak, what a wonderful week in the woods!

Christmas week came and went like a magical breeze blowing through the trees. The festivities started on the Winter Solstice in Wyman Park, where I walked down through the woodside of the park, down the stone steps as traditional folk musicians beckoned me closer into the Dell. I met up with a good friend to put my burdens down by burning them in the bonfire...

Christmas Eve was spent at the Church of the Guardian Angel, where I used to attend fairy festivals upstairs. As the sweet sounds of Greensleeves opened the musical meeting, I tried to meditate on peace and love.

Christmas Day was a long walk through the woods where I saw two young deer foraging through leaf litter, stumbled upon a magical labyrinth of love and sampled fresh sap from the trees before exploring the town on the way home.
