Last
night, I had a big history test at school. To prepare, I studied all
day, burning a yellow candle for intelligence. I memorized everything
on the study guide and then brewed up a cup of spearmint tea, a memory
potion to help me remember everything I learned. I wore owls, the birds
of wisdom on my sleeves for good luck under my brown dress and tied a
black ribbon in my hair. When I got to class, my teacher actually said,
"Well, here we are...the witching hour. Time for you to bewitch me with all you've learned so far!" I pulled out my power-charged pencil and started bubbling in answers. I hope I got an A+
