The Seeds are one of my favorite swingin’ sixties band, second only to my favorite band Forest.
They hail from LA, so I feel closer to them than the Beetles. I’ve got Seedlemania, mate!
The lead singer Sky Saxon was, I suspect, an elf. What else could explain the magical talents of music
and cute style? I read he didn’t think of age as relevant and seemed to have Irish, fairy influences in the music…
The Seeds were at their best with this psychedelic hit, “The March of the Flower Children”. They set the stage for many forest themed bands int he future, including the Vines.
