The wayward winds are blowing a breeze, kite strings are getting tangled in the trees. It's the perfect spring day, just made for flying kites in the forest. Floating through the forest like a bird... I made a few kites this morning, they were simple enough with wood sticks, string, fabric and an old wooden spool for a handle.
Well, I guess that qualifies me to reward myself with this old Girl Scout patch for kite flying. I love to pair a patch with an outfit if I plan on doing the activity. I've collected many at yard sales for dirt cheap prices!
